Heil Shaw
Shellee Heil
Shaw was raised on an Idaho cattle ranch. She spent her youth
on the back of a horse working cattle and developing her horse
training skills. At an early age she began successfully competing
at Junior rodeos. From breakaway roping, goat tying to barrel
racing, she excelled in her chosen rodeo events. By the age
of 18, Shellee had won 13 All-Around Cowgirl saddles and many
more titles. She was well on her way to a successful rodeo
career. In 1998, Shellee was crowned the acclaimed WPRA Rookie
of the Year title. Shellee has qualified for five consecutive
Canadian Finals Rodeos, until 2002 when she began to focus
more on training barrel horses and spending time with her
family. The majority of Shellee's successes were, and still
are, on horses she has selected and trained herself.Sponsored byWrangler
